Spring is well and truly in its prime. The past few days have been bursting with sunshine and warmth, so much so I have put my winter coat to bed for the summer, (after an essential post winter dry clean - this is a good idea before you put your winter coat away for 6 months, it will add years to its life).
As the sun was splitting the skies we decided to go over to Hidcote. A house in the Cotswolds, with the most beautiful gardens.
As you make your way around the gardens you come to a view over the rolling hills with a large field in front. Today it was filled with baby lambs. All extremely cute and they too, taking the time to bask in the sunshine.
My feeble attempt at a daisy chain.
They have a greenhouse in the middle of the garden centre part of the grounds which you can potter in and out of.
A great day out. Make sure you check opening times on their website and try to go early in the morning to get the best of the garden before it becomes too crowded.
