Drink your greens...

Whilst I love to feast on food that isn't always the healthiest, my body sometimes calls for a little health kick. Every now and then we all need a little detox and de-bloat...

...this is just the ticket. Not to mention having a couple of these a week will do wonders for your skin.

A couple of my best girlfriends swear by this number, you can stuff it full of greens, veggies, fruit and a few extra health kicks if you fancy. Green smoothies are a great way to get all your greens down you and they are super tasty.

Wiz this up one morning and enjoy with a big glug of water to feel hydrated, take to work or save for a post gym pick me up. 

For three large glasses you will need...

A large bag of kale or spinach (or a little of both)  
2 avocados, 
1 cup almond milk 
a shake of cinnamon and a dribble of vanilla essence. 
Sprinkling of Bee Pollen.
1 tsp spirulina...the super supplement (see below if you are feeling sceptical!)

I am fairly new to additions like spirulina but they really do turn your juice into an amazing glass of goodness, you only need a little in each to make a difference so a pack goes a long way. 

Wiz everything in your blender, if you have the pulse option this is a good setting to use as it breaks down things a little slower and doesn't wiz everything into oblivion - keeping some of those important fibres and vitamins intact.

Serve with a little sprinkling of bee pollen this adds flavour and it is also another super food.
It is a great energy enhancer, boosts your immune system and is jam packed with anti oxidants.

An all round winner! Get blending.
